Your firm is best served when a carrier perceives that a broker or consultant is in control of your benefits business. We strongly recommend that clients select one broker to market their health and welfare benefits, even if our firm is not selected, because if two or more brokers contact a carrier, the carrier will typically put out one bid and will not negotiate with any competing brokers. Select your broker before marketing your account.
